When our founder Maria Hatzistefanis was looking for the perfect ingredients to create a hero hydration range, she discovered Dragon's Blood, a sap from the Amazonian tree Sangre de Drago that was yet to be used globally in skincare. It was an ingredient that was used locally as a powerful healer, and a protective layer that could be applied to burns and grazes. The inside of this tree is a reddish coral colour, which gave the inspiration for the colour of the packaging.

The range incorporates a variety of groundbreaking ingredients, combining each product with the dragon’s blood to create a range of products that are a hybrid treatment and hydration hit. Some of the other hero ingredients include; hyaluronic acid, which retains moisture levels in the skin, leaving the complexion looking hydrated, healthy and soothed; Collageneer®, known to improve the appearance of skin firmness; Volufiline™ a plant-based ingredient that is known to improve elasticity in the skin; Commipheroline, a resin extract known to help plump and tone the complexion; and Hydromanil, which provides a time release moisture delivery complex.

The hero product, Dragon’s Blood Sculpting Gel, sells an average of one per second globally. It has been featured in Vogue and Harpers Bazaar, heralded as "the miracle liquid facelift" and used by everyone from Angelina Jolie, Martha Hunt, Kim Kardashian, Shanina Shaik, Megan Fox and Ellie Goulding. The range continues to be a favourite of high-profile names.
